48 Hours for Religious Freedom:
Iranian Christians daily face persecution for their faith. It is illegal in Iran for Christians to worship or own a Bible in their native tongue. Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, who was recently released after three years of imprisonment, faced possible execution in Iran because he chose to follow Christ. Join people around the globe on the weekend of September 22-23, 2012, in raising awareness about Pastor Youcef and the persecuted Church in Iran. Stand with the persecuted by planning activities at your church or place of worship, sharing Pastor Youcef’s story, praying, protesting, and writing letters both of encouragement to Pastor Youcef and to Iran’s leaders on his behalf. Together we can make a difference.
